addition to the new Chinese Hospital, I think
the Chinese have already contributed liberally
towards the
Civil Hospital
and with this object in view I am
disposed to think that
a sum of say
$10,000 towards
the construction of
the Alice Memorial Hospital, & the investment
of a further
sum of
$20,000 to provide
an annual endowment for it
will be a
very handsome contribution from this source.
